If you follow any of Hot Mama’s social media channels, you’ve surely heard about Back on the Bandwagon, our 10-day fitness and nutrition reset program, which launched on January 4th. After the holiday season and at the beginning of a new year, it’s a perfect time to take 10 days and refocus on your health, your fitness and, most importantly, refocus on YOU!
The OHM, Lindsay, created this program to help anyone (not just Mamas!) to get into healthy habits for a short period of time with the goal of maintaining those habits after the program was done. This is perfect for people who had healthy habits but “life” derailed them from their best efforts (ie: Christmas cookies, big vacation on the beach, 5 birthday parties in a row… you get the idea). It’s so hard to make healthy eating and exercise a priority in the first place and if you get out of the habit, it’s that much harder to get back on track!
I was part of the trial group for BOTBW in September. My workouts were consistent but towards the end of summer, I noticed I was in the habit of eating ice cream daily, snacking before bedtime, drinking wine regularly and, well, just not eating the best quality stuff. I also noticed how lazy I was getting with meal prep and often preferred to just grab something… which usually means “pizza”.
So I committed. I was all in. The day before we started was all about meal prep and scheduling time for my workouts for the next 10 days. 10 days was the perfect amount of time to give a 100% commitment without it feeling like a chore. Let’s do this!
First of all, the group support from the testers was amazing. Everyone was so excited to start! After each workout, I couldn’t wait to post about it and to read what others thought of it too! If I ever didn’t feel like doing the workout, I thought “no! I am accountable to the others!” and I got it done. That’s why Hot Mama is so incredible. The team support is like no other.
Fitness-wise, BOTBW is amazing! I loved the variety between strength, HIIT and low and slow workouts. I loved using the RPE scale to make each workout unique. I loved that there was a rest day built into the program… haha!
Here’s why Back on the Bandwagon is worth your time & money… it’s just 10 days. That’s a week and a half! It’s such a short period of time but its effects go on long past the program’s end. You will realize how great you feel with good old-fashioned clean eating and amazing workouts. You will be proud at how you took time to make YOU a priority.
